Firstly welcome back to Raydale for our 1st game
of 2015, Happy New Year to you all and hopefully 2015 can carry on the way 2014
ended. Saturdays victory over Threave made it 8 wins in a row in all
competitions is no mean feat at any level of football, although we probably
weren’t at our best we dug in and ground out the victory and a clean sheet is
always a good thing for confidence in the back 5. Someone said in the changing
rooms after the game that 6 months ago we would of lost that game, and I tend
to agree.
If I’m not mistaken we have lost all 3 Lowland League
matches against Vale so we won’t be leaving any stone unturned, we have had the
lads in on New Year’s Eve to get prepared for today’s match as Stuart just
training once on Xmas week had a detrimental effect on Saturdays performance. A
victory would take us within touching distance of top of the league with
Edinburgh City to play in January. We just have to keep winning and see where
it takes us. Rest assured we won’t concede anything until its mathematically
impossible.
Nikki
